Cancellation Policy and Billing Notice for Metrofitt Memberships
Any cancellation of membership regardless of membership plan requires a minimum of 5 days notice before the billing date . You acknowledge and understand that if you do not cancel minimum 5 days before your billing date, by visiting our clubs or emailing us on info@metrofitt.com one further recurring payment will be taken from your credit/debit card on the agreed date. Your membership will officially be cancelled from the final recurring payment due date. No cancellation will be approved if your membership has an outstanding payment.
Membership Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation of any upfront or monthly membership is non-refundable, however on a case-to-case basis the management may allow refunds due to medical reasons provided that genuine proof is submitted, which will then be subject for approval. In the case of upfront membership, all refunds will be based on a conversion of the remaining months left on the term.
MEMBERSHIP Terms & Conditions 
  • This is terms and conditions between you (the Member) and METROFITT.  By following the joining process and becoming a member you are accepting the terms and conditions in this Membership Agreement.

 

METROFITT offers 2 Types of Membership

Plans,Home membership & Passport membership. Each Membership Type will have different plans and rates.

Club Access
  • a. Entry to the club is only through personal pin code access, QR code or with a RFID card. Members can purchase a RFID card upon joining or at any point during their membership by contacting any of our staff at the FITTHUB.
  • b. The RFID card and PIN number is only intended for the use of the member and remains the property of METROFITT.
  • c. Your PIN number or RFID Card can only be used by you, as your membership is personal to you and covers your use of any METROFITT locations as per your membership. You are responsible for keeping your PIN number confidential at all times.

 

All membership formalities must be completed prior to the use of any service or facility of METROFITT. Noncompliance will not result in a refund but will result in restricted access to the gym. Requirements include the following:
  • a. Signing this agreement
  • b. PARQ (to be completed upon Joining)
Physical Health of Member
  • a. In accepting these Terms & Conditions you acknowledge that you are in good health and is able to participate in either active or passive exercise. The member further warrants that such exercise would not be detrimental to their health, safety, comfort, well-being or physical condition.
  • b. The member shall not use any METROFITT facilities whilst suffering from any infections or contagious illness, disease or other ailment such as open cuts, abrasions, open sores or minor infection, where there is a risk that such use may be detrimental to the health, safety, comfort or physical condition of other members.

 

Monthly Membership Plans
  • a.Founder Members on a Home membership will have access to home club.Founder will be based on location of joining.
  • b.Home ,Membership on a Home membership will have access to only home club. Generally home club & founder will be based on location of joining.
  • c.Passport , members on a Passport membership will have access to all METROFITT location including all our Signature Clubs.
  • d.Admin fee: New members shall be charged, non-refundable administration fee of 49 AED, due upon registration for monthly membership plan.
Cancellation & Refund of Membership
  • a. Any cancellation of membership regardless of membership plan requires a minimum of 5 days notice before the billing date . You acknowledge and understand that if you do not cancel minimum 5 days before your billing date, one further recurring payment will be taken from your credit/debit card on the agreed date. Your membership will officially be cancelled from the final recurring payment due date. No cancellation will be approved if your membership has an outstanding payment.
  • b.   • c. Monthly membership are paid in advance and non-refundable.
  • d. Membership plans paid to METROFITT via any third-party payment platform (Train Now, Pay Later) are strictly non-refundable

 

Auto Debit / Recurring Auto Debit Agreement
  • a. By enrolling in an auto-debit agreement, you authorize METROFITT to, on a recurring basis, automatically charge the debit or credit card account you specified, for the monthly payments on your monthly auto-debit plan associated with your account, on the billing due date. You understand and acknowledge that (1) METROFITT will initiate transfers/charges pursuant to this authorization not to exceed the amount shown on you Membership Agreement and/or in connect with cancellation fees per the cancellation policy. METROFITT may discontinue processing of recurring charges if it is unable to secure funds from your debit/card due to, but not limited to, insufficient or uncollected funds in the account or insufficient or inaccurate information provided; (2) it is your responsibility to keep a current card on file with accurate billing information. METROFITT cannot be held responsible for errors in processing due to expired or inaccurate information
  • b. Non-usage of the club does not eliminate the obligation to pay all fees on time.
  • c. Monthly memberships are paid in advance monthly, on the calendar date which the membership became activated, for the following month. On joining, your first payment is on the day of joining and future payments shall be made each month thereafter, on a month-by-month basis, via automatic debited payment (credit card or debit card,). In the event of a declined credit card/debit card, the member’s account will be immediately suspended, pending the member updating their payment information and their membership cleared of all outstanding dues , recurring payment billing will continue as per agreement.
  • e. You can request your free 30 days freeze at the reception or contact your member host . A fee for freezing will be charged if the total freeze period exceeds 30 days within a 12-month period. Your access to the gym will be deactivated for the freeze duration.
  • f. METROFITT has the right to appoint a third party to collect late dues and outstanding amounts owed. Dues & outstanding’s are reported to the credit bureau and can affect the credit score of the member.
  • d. Should you decide to cancel and re-join at a later date, you will lose the discount if you join at a special rate/discount.
  • g. METROFITT reserves the right to change membership prices at any time. We will give you at least 1 full months' notice of any incoming price increase and will make it very clear when the price increase will take effect and how much your membership will cost after the increase. During this period, you will have your usual right to terminate your membership in accordance with the membership terms and conditions and rules. If you do not terminate the membership by the date given to you in the notice, then the price of your membership will be increased in accordance with our notice.
  • h. METROFITT will not share your credit/debit card information with any third party.
Personal Training
  • a. Personal Training can only be conducted by METROFITT Trainers. Members/non-members found conducting Personal Training within the club will be asked to leave and have their membership cancelled with no refunds provided
  • b. Payments made for personal training are non-refundable or transferable.
  • c. The expiration policy requires completion of 10 personal training sessions within One Month, 20 personal training sessions with in three (3) months from the date of purchase and 40 personal training sessions with in five (5) months from the date of purchase
  • d. METROFITT reserves the right to replace the Personal Trainer at any given time before and during the Personal Training contract period.

 

Auto Debit / Recurring Auto Debit Agreement
  • a. Gym Rules
  • a. Paper towels and gym wipes are provided around the club and members are required to adopt our ‘clean as you go’ policy.
  • b.All members are requested to respect local laws and customs with regards to modesty.
  • c.Members are required to always wear proper fitness attire when exercising, this includes safe footwear.
  • d.The use of mobile phones with camera features or any other type of visual recorder in the changing rooms and the rest of gym premises is strictly prohibited.
  • e. In case of abuse or aggression verbally or physically, the authority will be notified, and the membership will be terminated without a refund.
  • f. You are responsible for any damage you cause

 

Changing rooms
  • Toilets and shower facilities are provided for members however shower toiletries are not provided. METROFITT does not provide towels or body wash therefore members are advised to bring their own. Lockers are provided for use whilst using the club. Lockers are opened and cleared daily, any recovered items are kept for 1 week, after which the management will dispose of the items in any way it sees fit. No claims will be entertained after this period. Management accepts no responsibility, for any reason whatsoever , for loss or damage to any personal items whilst at the club or kept in lockers.
Communication 
  • We will communicate to you via your online account and sometimes by SMS. You agree to update your account immediately with any changes to your personal details including contact information. You may opt out of email and SMS communication from METROFITT, but by doing so we cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred by you not receiving member communications.

 

METROFITT'S LIABILITY 
  • You understand that the gym is not always supervised and you therefore exercise at your own risk. You assume all responsibility for any personal injury, property damage or death resulting from my participation in the use of the club
  • You are liable for any damage caused to our equipment or facilities through your negligent use.
  • All members must abide by the rules of the club which may be amended from time to time and can been viewed online or within the club.

  • METROFITT may terminate a membership at any time for breach of the Terms and Condition or generally undesirable behavior, as determined by METROFITT at its sole discretion and the member will not be entitled to a refund of, or any portion of initial fees or dues paid on the date of termination
  • METROFITT allows Members to use the club at its sole discretion. METROFITT reserves the right to add or eliminate facilities available to Members. The hours of operation will be set by METROFITT and may be changed at any time at its sole discretion. METROFITT expressly reserves the right to add to, eliminate, or alter any program, equipment, furniture, or fixture when deemed necessary or desirable at its sole discretion. The information on this Agreement is the property of METROFITT.
  • You consent to your image being recorded by 24-hour CCTV for security purposes and reviewed at our discretion by our employees, contractors and legal authorities as deemed necessary. or quote your mobile number.
